I'm coming in from out of state to visit Niagara Falls for a few days. I expect to get into the area a few hours before hotel check-in time and was thinking of killing some time visiting the Buffalo Zoo. My only concern is that I'll have some luggage in the back of my SUV and I'm afraid it might present any potential thief with a target of opportunity. I won't have anything of particular value in the bags, but I don't want to have to deal with the vehicle damage\incidental replacement drama. Can anyone tell me what the area surrounding the zoo is like and if they know of there being a problem with vehicle break=ins at the zoo. Appreciate any insights any of you locals can provide. Thanks.
