Coworker got fired yesterday. They did not come in to work the Tuesday of the blizzard.
The attendance points he received for not coming in put him at enough points for termination.
The factory I work at is located in Lancaster, the employee lives in Buffalo.
One of his second shift coworkers died in the blizzard trying to help his neighbors out.
When he mentioned at his termination meeting that there was a driving ban and a coworker died they changed their story and said oh we’re not happy with your performance on this or that.
