Painting Keychron K2 case + making it sound more “creamy”

Want to preface by saying I love this sub, thank you all for being so helpful and accommodating with beginners!

I have two questions:

  1. I recently bought the K2 (my first board!) hotswap and did the following mods: a) added foam to the case b) swapped the Gat Browns (a good entry level tactile imo) with Akko Jelly Purples, which are very tight(?) tactiles, the feedback is quite strong. I’m also planning on getting the Drop LOTR keycaps if they ever go on sale or if there’s another BOGO deal on Drop’s site. Is there anything else I can do to make my keyboard sound more ~creamy? I hate clicky switches and the Jelly Purples are the opposite of that, but I still feel like my board is lacking something. I also don’t know if the foam made that much difference.

  2. Has anyone here ever painted a Keychron K2 case? Is it worth trying or would the black just drown out all the colors? My plan was to try and get the case to a dark green, to go with the keycaps I want to get.

Thanks in advance for any help!!
