Hi All,
I've been looking to update my TV audio setup from stereo passive speakers to a pair of active bookshelf speakers. I've narrowed down the options to the Kef LSX and Klipsch The Fives. After demonstration I'd say the Kef have a clearer more refined sound over The Fives however the Klipsch features like HDMI Arc and bass control (and now EQ?) have made me unable to make a decision. Would love to hear from people who have experience with these and can comment on reliability, user experience and performance. I've read countless reviews and scanned most forums already without a clear winner.
Alternatively I could get a pair of Kef LS50 wireless I ex-demo for $2500 AUD but hoping to keep the budget lower than that.
These speakers will mainly be used for film, TV and gaming, less so music.
Prices in Australia LSX $1500 AUD ($1100 used) Fives $1350 AUD
Thanks in advance!!
