Loving this Craigslist $250 purchase in Vancouver, BC - I picked up a pair of Advent 1 large speakers and a NAD3020 amp. Iām using a basic rca cable and midrange speaker wire for connections. Iām using my older Tascam us600 for a DAC and using my laptop to play FLAC files into the NAD. Sounds awesome, but it does feel like it could be better.
Anything obvious I can do to make the system better while i find a turntable and CD player - which I know will sound better than the laptop through the DAC? Any advice appreciated - equalizer? Preamp? Some kind of a better DAC?? Thanks in advance!
