Is Current Audio a legit brand? I can get an FLSUB10 for $50 used. Worth it?

I'm seeing it priced at $599:

but I also suspect it's a BS company since it's website is linked to malware and it says they've been making gear for "over 10 years".
I'd use the aub as basically a placeholder in my 3.1 HTS system (10x10' space) because I don't have the money for a proper sub.
