What's the difference between crave and discomfort?

Post Body

I used those words as a template, but let me explain well these (I think) two separate events.

When I have a crave, that kind of feeling of restlessness, like sores in all the body, I sometimes use sensual pleasures (Fire) to escape from it.

Result: I feel relief mixed with pain, for not dealing with the crave itself.

Other times, I feel discomfort for things like: having a messy room, eating junk food, watching porn.

So when I make my response at it, being cleaning my room, cooking healthy food, and restraining from porn, I feel at peace, no pain at all.

So, what is happening? Is the second event escaping from the pain as well? Are the two pains the same? Is the same pain (sores), but one action is using fire to appease it and the other medicine to cure it?

Any insight would be welcome, being experimental or theoretical.
