Are you a Buddhist if you just meditate?

Post Body

I’ve noticed a lot of people calling themselves Buddhists who just seem to meditate and agree with much of the philosophy, but don’t participate in traditions, rituals, community, etc... This is actually me in a nutshell, except I don’t feel comfortable calling myself a Buddhist, it feels too much like cultural appropriation. And why label yourself anyway? Seems like it misses the point. Thoughts?
