Would you say that studying Buddhism makes you take life more or less seriously?
On one hand, I see that itโs important to use this life to grow spiritually and help others. On the other hand, Iโd like to just enjoy the little things more and let go of my stress.
I feel like Iโm in an interesting position now where I can let myself be relaxed at will, but then I feel guilty for not doing as much as I could be. Could this just be an effect of capitalism and hustle culture, or should a good Buddhist try to work as hard as possible while young and healthy? For context, Iโm a 20 year old college student.
