Assuming the world became oriented towards Buddhism, would historical buildings/icons be preserved? I understand that, in a way, this is a form of attachment, but on a societal level, temples dedicated to Buddhism tend to be well-maintained by parishioners, which seems to be a form of regional attachment. So just wondering if this would extend to those not completely aligned with the religion itself but holding a cultural significance to the country. Like would it be correct to maintain the Louvre in a Buddhist France? Thanks :)
