Why should impermanence cause dissatisfaction?

Post Body

I don't find food dissatisfying because I'll be hungry again.

I don't find spending time with friends to be dissatisfying because we'll have to go to bed eventually.

I don't find books or movies dissatisfying because they have endings.

So what's so bad about being impermanent? If anything, it's a very helpful thing in my experience, because it means that pain is only temporary too.

Even the worst pains, like grief, don't last forever.
