Using a vibrator is a failure: do not vibrate your sieve tower to improve sieving action

The picture doesnโ€™t do justice and I was too busy to get the documentation I wanted, but using the vibrator was an objective failure. I ran half with vibration and half manual sieving. The half with vibration had significantly lower yields than manually sieving. Why that is the case Iโ€™m not entirely certain (I have a couple theories), but the outcome speaks for itself. The vibration did help get water through the tower faster, but the hash went through too.

And now I know ๐Ÿ™‚

Thank you for trying it out for us.

Next stop: Different paddle shapes. A spiral hook seems to work better than a flat paddle according to at least some evidence.
