Storing and drying question for hash that will be used for edible

Iā€™m wondering if I need to go through the drying process if Iā€™m just going to use my lower quality(160u and 25u) for food. Can I just leave it in the freezer until I want to decarb it? Or should I dry and store until Iā€™m ready to use? Thanks

Freeze it. The moisture will sublimate so you can occasionally fluff it up. That way portioning out the hash will be easier and it won't splash too much during the infusion process.

Mind you you can also dry it and store at room temperature if you keep it away from light and air. The things getting lost during room temperature storage also get lost during decarb.
