Does my flower need to be fully dry before washing?

I have plants that are halfway through the dry and I am going on vacation in two days and want to wash them into bubble hash before I go. Can I just freeze them now and wash them or will it make a dramatic difference if I wait until fully dry? I’m in between a rock and a hard place. I don’t wanna overdry be leaving them to dry more while on vacation and I don’t wanna make a severely inferior product by not fully drying either.
Thoughts?
