I (21 M) am about to enter second year of college (IT department) and i haven't done anything beside c programming which was in my syllabus. After my 12th i gave NEET for the first time, couldn't clear it then took a drop year for NEET. This time i gave NEET along with WEBJEE but couldn't clear it again but i scored 15k rank in WEBJEE got seat in an engineering college . I wanted to take another drop for NEET but my parents were getting anxious so they asked me to take admission in any college i would get and i half heartedly took admission ,and I neither actually focused in college studies nor tried to make any friends .I was determined this year if I will study hard i will be able to take admission in a good medical college but again this year i got 565 marks so no medical college for me. Now my condition is that i have two backs in maths in both the semesters, don't have any friends and really don't know what to do ,previously i was assured that I don't need to make any friends since i am anyway leaving but now I feel really lonely as if everybody has gone forward and i am left behind .

Every day I am getting worried about my future this year i really thought i would go to a good medical college and don't have to deal with anything regarding to engineering but here I am. so can anybody please guide me what i should be learning so that i can at least secure a job by the end of my college. I have my interests in data driven fields but i don't know where to start or will it be a good career option for job perspective.
