I’ll go first, I think one of the most waste of time policies in Brunei is giving subsidies to government parents for sending their kids to a private school. What is the point of this? Government school are basically free and there isnt much difference in their curriculum. If wanna talk about how different school have different environment, lets be real, almost every children today are living in the same environment, regardless of school. Tiktok kids, IG kids and so on.
Im not against govt or private school. Im just questioning about govt subsidies for private institution when they have offered free education in government school.
Instead of policies that's a waste of time but how about policies that should more be encouraged.
Im down for any recruiter or HR from companies should do more unbiased interviews or CV forms like how other countries do it. that they use mostly written form and its following some sort of standardised competency framework. Anything that can reduce or stop the nepotism issue within the government and private sector and to hold them accountable individually
