I'm not exactly asking for a kid, my aunt is mentally disabled. She's 52, but I'd describe her as having the mind of a very introverted 6 year-old. Usually each year my grandparents take her and our family to see the Nutcracker at Paper Mill Playhouse in NJ, but every few years we'll do something special, like the Christmas Spectacular at Radio City Music Hall. She recently watched the movie, "The Waitress" and really liked it, so I'm going to was propose to my dad that we could see that this winter. I just want to know if there's anything too explicit in the play (my main concern is violence, not sexual references, those usually fly over her head, unless it's very NSFW) or any parts that are particularly loud that include flashing lights. We took her to see Matilda a few years ago and the scenes with really aggressive music and flashing lights seemed to be a bit much for her. Thanks.
