I read a thread about the most controversial R-rated shows that made it into Broadway and I can't help but notice that a disproportionately large amount of the shows mentioned there and on different rankings premiered in late 1960s, through 1970s and in/after late 1990s, leaving 1980s (especially late 1980s) and early 1990s empty. It would be fitting because that's when sexual revolution ended, sexually conservative Reagan administration started and HIV/AIDS emerged. So I would like to ask you: do you think it really mattered to existence of such shows and do you know any shows that were running in 1980s (especially late 1980s) and early 1990s that contained nudity?
