Just got back from seeing Cabaret and OMG! I’ve seen over 40 Broadway shows and I’ve never had an experience like that in live theatre. I’ve never started a show laughing nonstop to watching in horror at the end. The theatre has been truly transformed into the Kit Kat Club and is unrecognizable. The whole cast was incredible and Adam and Auli’i each stole the show. The only complaint that I have is the theater in the round concept. I was sitting in the new mezzanine and a good portion of the show I spent looking at the actors backs while they faced the front of the theatre. Regardless, the show was spectacular and the story was very important given today’s political climate. Please see Cabaret if you can! You won’t regret it!
