Hi there, I’m involved with a community theatre play and the directors want a few songs interspersed between scenes. We’re trying to think of a song for this one character to sing. She’s the wife of one of the leads. She’s a mean, controlling, I’m-better-than-everyone-else kind of person, but I think also just kind of bitter about life. She’s demeaning to her husband. Calling him an idiot, telling him to shut up. We want her to have a song that will add some flair and maybe comedic side to her character. So we’re thinking some sort of song where she’s lamenting the fact that she’s surrounded by idiots…the torture of having to deal with idiots…something like that… Any thoughts?
