After a little over two months with odin, this is what i've learned about Brittanys.
Post Body

Odin is my /u/cwinrigh and I's first dog together, and the first puppy that either of us have trained. He has taught us a lot about patience, teaching, and responsibility. He has such a huge personality, and he is so funny to watch.

He's too smart for his own good. He's discovered that you have to turn knobs to open doors. He doesn't have the teeth or strength to actually do it yet, but it's coming. He is an escape artist and goes where he wants, when he wants. He also now starts barking at the bedroom door when he thinks it's bedtime (he's usually off by less than ten minutes).

He knows sit, lay down, stay, come, and drop it, with the first three in English and German. He obeys around 75% of the time. The food motivation is a huge helper with this, but he also operates on praise.

He's still a handful, especially the little bit of separation anxiety that he has, but he's outgrowing it. He's too bold for his own good sometimes, such as when he tried to go play with a skunk at 4 am. He is our little pain in the butt. Any advice from here? What did this next phase look like for you?
