Reflecting on the first few weeks with Odin
Post Body

My husband and I picked up our Brittany pup on the 11th of this month. We've had him for two weeks now, and there has been a steep learning curve. Odin is afraid of being left alone and howls if he can't touch a human. Obviously we are working intensely with this to make sure he can stay home alone soon.

He's a smart dog, and is well on his way to being house broken, having had only one or two accidents in the last few days. He knows come, sit, and drop already. His bite inhibition has improved drastically, which is nice.

Since he got his second set of shots early, including the ones for parvo and bordatella, we've been taking him lots of places with us. He has been out to a local brewery with us, been to a music in the park event, and made the folks at the local Home Depot demand we bring him in so they can watch him grow up.

I am so.glad that we decided on this breed, even if he is crazy hyper and needy at times. I can't wait to see how he does as we start hunting next year. Puppy tax: https://imgur.com/HLZs9cO
