In preparation for October this year where I plan to secure 241’s for either Shanghai or Beijing in business I had hoped to call on anyone’s experience with first.

I’ve been keeping an eye on first availability, just out of curiosity. There was some for 1 PAX but nothing for 2, which will be my party. I understand that, they are rare etc.

Has anyone had success in securing biz and then using seatspy and a pinch of luck been able to upgrade to first either on or around the dates you’d originally requested? If so do you just called executive to do? hypothetically, could I get first outbound and biz return (after all it’s really only CCR I’m interested in?) I’m super flexible on dates, just hoping to bag a couple of first tickets.
