Do I need a Transit Visa?

Hello. I am travelling from South Africa to Germany tomorrow, but I have short layover in London (Heathrow). I have a South African passport with a German issued Schengen visa. From what I have seen on the UK Home Office website, I do not need a UK Transit Visa, seeing as I have the Schengen visa and an onward ticket to Germany and I won't be in the international part of the airport for too long. Is this correct? Has anyone recently travelled like this?
