Boxing day sale advice
Post Body

Hi! So this is my first ever thread on reddit, apologies if i get any of the formatting/terminology wrong. I stay in Glasgow and use either BA from Gla-lgw to get to Orlando/Tampa or Virgin (drive to Manchester). I like to use complex itinerary as we tend to book a cruise and just need a hotel for the first night but also like sorting car hire out etc. ive been doing the sums and it seems prices are pretty outrageous for when we want to travel (24th october-10th november 2024), will we be too far out to get a decent price in their boxing day sale or should i opt to use some virgin points (mrs has a gold amex with enough points to get her and my son (using companion from virgin card)) to travel? Asking advice as the virgin reward seats will possibly be gone by time of boxing day sale going live and we canโ€™t seem to book multi stage reward seats on BA or Virgin (virgin seems to offer best value for redemption but about ยฃ700 with fees).
