For several months now the parliament has been debating a bill that would limit the workday to only eleven hours for all Frenchmen (and Frenchwomen and what have you). It was drafted by the "moderate" wing of the Radicals-Socialists bloc late last year and is now finally coming to a final vote. The debates have been raging, both major blocs have their strong opinions, and while the Progressives control the legislature, it is possible some may vote with the Radicals-Socialists, enough to perhaps even pass the bill!
Us patriots can only pray this does not happen.
