Following the blatant and uncalled for invasion of the Kingdom of Hungary by the Kingdom of Romania, the Kingdom of Italy has called for a meeting of the League of Nations, both the Council and the assembly.

The Italian delegation denounces this invasion by one member of the League of Nations by another, and states that it is clear that the Kingdom of Romania are attacking in order to expand their own realm at the expense of the Kingdom of Hungary. In addition, the Kingdom of Romania has broken the Kellogg-Briand Pact which states:

signatory states promised not to use war to resolve disputes or conflicts of whatever nature or of whatever origin they may be, which may arise among them.

The Kingdom of Italy proposes that immediaty economic sanctions be placed against the Kingdom of Romania, with all member nations ending any and all foreign trade with the aggressor nation.

In addition, Italy proposes the discussion of the altering of the Treaty of Trianon, in order to give the Kingdom of Hungary a chance to defend itself in these trying times.
