Hi folks,
The reps met today and we’ve agreed that the weekly Lanesmash event is to go on “Indefinite Hiatus” as a result of ded game ded server low participation. That being said, in order to to allow for ongoing opportunities for scrims and Lanesmash style events, we’re reworking scrims slightly. We’re hoping that these changes will allow for teams to practice for the upcoming Lanesmash tournament and reduce the amount of effort that goes into organising scrims. Since we’re a bunch of no-lifers dedicated server reps, we’ll help do the leg-work for any outfit that can put forward a team for future scrims:
As with the old Scrim system, if you can approach the reps with two teams, we will organise and run a scrim for you.
In addition to this, we’re also introducing a new system to help encourage scrims by reducing the organisation required to put together a match. If you can present the reps with a rough roster of six to ~ twelve players and a time/date for a match, we’ll work to assemble an opposing team for you ourselves. We can’t guarantee it’ll always be possible, but we’ll do our best.
With these changes in mind, below is a google document for expressions of interest from players or outfits that would be happy to be contacted by the reps to assemble a team. Please put down your name and your preferred method of contact. If we’re approached with a team, we’ll contact you to see if you’re interested in playing at the time/date that’s been requested.
Please note that the above form is for people who are putting down expressions of interest. If you wish to organise a match, even if you only have one team organised please contact the reps directly so that we can hammer out a time, date and match size. We’ll then use the form to organise an opposing team if you don’t already have one organised.
Cheers,
Reps.
