Normally Period drama shows really aren’t my thing at all, I have suffered through a lot of them though because my family are really into it, they love Pride and Prejudice and Emma which I find a bit boring.
Watching Bridgerton though was like a breath of fresh air. Especially the second season which I thought was really entertaining. I think I’ve seen the whole thing maybe 3/4 times. I haven’t seen many period dramas have as complex a background for the main male lead as Anthony had. I was questioning why he was being a little bit intense in the first season but the back story really made it make sense and Anthony became one of my favourite characters after that. I love him and Kate together too, the acting was fantastic and I was really rooting for them to get together.
I’m a 21 year old guy and whenever I’ve tried to talk to my mates about it I tend to either get laughed at or they haven’t seen it, but I have to say this sub is great at giving me my Bridgerton fix.
Anyway, confession over, can’t wait for season 3
