Elder Madiso: Welcome back! Hopefully we do not get any more stuff like that. <madiso laughs> I'll do a bit of a repeat on what I had previously mentioned. We just had a cross-district/World Council meeting. This was hosted by Dwarven District, and Brickton came up with the topic of helping The Grove with Water Resistant Bricks

Melissa Stella: We could actually use basic alchemy to not even have to deal with animals and still get oil with the raw elements

Elder Madiso: Well, is alchemy illegal? If not, I say go for it. shiftmys6?

Elder Madiso: Voting time! Not Council voting, but a less fun one! Last week we had discussed council term lengthening and rotation of councils. I still want to know how you all feel about this, so I will be holding a vote in region chat

Elder Madiso: Next, rotation of council. This means that a council member can only be an elder for the term but cannot for the next, or certain amount of terms

Elder Madiso: Okay seems the votes are in! So, we had two votes. One on whether or not a lengthened council term would be good and whether or not rotation of members would be good. It seems that a ton of people want lengthened council terms but do not want rotation of members. Thank you all who voted <Big smile> Okay. Now it is time for the actual fun stuff! Okay. Council time! Scribe Sky: [While writing out my speech I was a bit rushed so this is the true speech: When I was fifteen, sixteen when I really started to police Brickton. I definitely wanted to become a scribe. It was almost impossible because the dream was so big. And I didn’t see a chance because Madiso was doing it and we lived in a small town. And when I finally broke away from home and became a constable. I thought, well, now I may have a little bit of a chance. Because all I really wanted to do is Scribe – and not only to do scribe, but change scribe. At the time in Brickton 14-15 they already had scribes. SO I would talk my bike, would go to town hall and study scribes who just had notepads and word documents. I think I had about seven or eight meetings under my belt. I would partially sleep in the park because I didn’t want to ride home, and that helped me to make friends in the beginning. I wanted to start my own scribing with the types of scribing I liked. The logs, the notepads, the word documents, and the types of the future. And I said, “wait a second, I know these cool guys why don’t I start my own scribing of the future. And I didn’t have any idea what to do, but I knew I needed a cool hideout. So, I took over this plot and built an office. I knew I could be a cool scribe of the future, but I didn’t realize how much of an impact would be.
