Elder Wooper: Welcome everyone, to the Brickton Town Hall Meeting. Thank you for joining us. We have decided for ease of future voting, to keep a dynamically-updated Brickton Census. This will help us to keep track of who lives in Brickton, where, and to measure activity of our district. We at this point have a partial list of residents, but we need you all to help! To participate in the census, please go to the Letterpress.
Flame536: How dynamically-updated will the census be?
Elder Wooper: At this time, we are unsure, but it will be checked regularly.
Elder Cole: Yes, I am updating the census as quickly as I can. I am unsure when a formal copy will be up, but for now, make sure to register!
gypsyXcow: Concerning the census, will the Fairgrounds be considered a single entity, or several plots?
Elder Wooper: A census regards individual people.
gypsyXcow: You misunderstood my question. Will the Fairgrounds be counted as a single address, or multiple?
Elder Wooper: It counts as a single address, doesn't it? It functions as a single organization.
Elder Cole: We register individual people, if you are part of the Fairgrounds, just put your plot description as "Fairgrounds", I'll understand.
Elder Wooper: Lords Willakers and Deadbones set it upon themselves to build a highway this week. And, as an extension did some demolition. The Highway will serve as the entrance to the Lords Mall. The Mall will house business plots, to sell goods, as well as the mail services for the Lords. As a result, Lord Roamin's, Prince Spyd's, and Lord Justin's mailrooms were disabled to do so. And as per usual, peasants were caught in the way, but many of the casualties were rectified.
WorldOfMonkey: Does that mean that the mall is the only place to send mail?
Elder Wooper: As far as I am aware, yes, at this moment. Though, Prince Spyd does have his Mail Tent.
Lord Roamin: I still have my mail sorting facility in Pauper district by the portal. Also, when the Brickton Post Office is setup, they can distribute mail as well.
Minimacsniper33: Will we get a refund for if our Mail was lost during the demolition?
Elder Wooper: I'm not certain. I doubt it, Mini.
Sosilly99: Do we know what district the business plots are considered, Barrens or their own?
Elder Wooper: We're not certain. It may function as a market area of sorts, where it is owned by the Lords.
Lord Roamin: I'm not sure how the ownership will function as the current rules would make them Barrens residents. More details to follow.
Mason97m: The local post office near the portal just opened up recently Would it be entirely seperate from the Lordly mail?
Elder Wooper: That may serve as our Lord Roamin's decision. I'm not sure, though, Mason.
pankaces5959: If the mall isn't finished, where do we leave mail for Lords without their own offices?
Elder Wooper: You may just have to hold onto it for the time being. Roamin's mail offices are still available, as are Spyd's.
gypsyXcow: Once the Mall's mail services are finished, will Lord Roamin be using those, or his own?
Elder Wooper: I imagine it will be a replacement for the Mail Buffalo. Whereas it is the main hub or all Lords, but they handle their mail individually.
Lord Roamin: The Buffalo is gone and will be replaced in the mall. Hold tight till' it's opened.
JDrocks2013: With the destruction of the Mail Buffalo, will all of the Lords mail be in one facility?
Elder Wooper: Yes. It will be in the mall. That is where the new "Mail Buffalo"-esque hub will be. This week marks the arrival of our King's wife, Queen Shay. With a rather bumpy arrival, she was welcomed graciously into the Sand Dunes, taking the Guild Plot for her own palace. She is a bubbly, eccentric woman who has high demands and equally high standards, but she is to be welcomed with open arms.
Lord Roamin: I fully agree, and that was well put, Wooper.
Elder Wooper: She also has the capability to raise the dead. I am aware that you are capable to put in an essay regarding your desire to be revived. Though I have heard the process can be painful.
Mason97m: It appears that Lord Willakers can also revive the dead.
Elder Wooper: As can Deadbones, and Nisovin, but she seems to excel at it.
Schacherl: Does anyone know how people become revived? I was revived while I was zoned out. No clue how or why. Is it like an aura?
Elder Wooper: I have heard that it can sometimes just...happen. It's quite strange as to how.
willie0222: When you say revive, do you mean like make them invisible?
Lord Roamin: I have something I want to try with ColeQM, if you're willing.
Elder Cole: Yes, of course.
Lord Roamin: This may not be the best feeling, and I can't promise anything... drink from this potion. The final step. Hmm.. still not alive, let's try one more thing. Omg, he was a bear this whole time. I seem to have run out of my restoration potions. I think it takes a week for them to be brewed. Welcome back, Elder Cole. Please be careful, restoring someone back to the living also hurts me as well.
gypsyXcow: In regards to Queen Shay, does she require any payment besides an essay?
Elder Wooper: From what I am aware of, no.
pankaces5959: Where I might go to get unghosted or how might I entice a lord to do so?
Elder Wooper: Send an essay to Queen Shay in her palace in the Sand Dunes to request an audience and as to why you deserve revival.
Ninjamoocow99: Will Brickton get an economy option like the Sand Factory, but for Brickton, could it be like a Brick Factory?
Elder Wooper: I'm not sure. We're not in charge of such a thing, and we've heard nothing thus far.
JDrocks2013: On occassion, what will Brickton present for Lord Coestar's Birthday?
Elder Wooper: Elder Block_Parser is the one taking control of the presentation.
Lord Roamin: Let's do something, but not too nice.
Elder Wooper: He is not here at the moment, but please address him with any questions or concerns.
willie0222: Now, on the raising from the dead, what were to happen if we were to drink milk?
Lord Roamin: You'll have strong bones.
Elder Wooper: It has no effect, as others have found. We also welcome Steve, Definitelynotelectricityman, a polite billionaire (his wealth can be measured in Negnars) to home. He looks over New Paupers, which will be cleared up in further detail later. Our Lord Roamin had some things he wished to discuss, I believe.
Lord Roamin: I have two items of interest. The first is that as I was walking around, I wasn't pleased with the status of the roads. We have some mixed steps, some full roads, some properly brick-lined roads. I want some consistency in our road structure. I want you to decide how you would like to have the roads setup. I make no promises that immenent domain won't be used, for the greater good.
WorldOfMonkey: I will be happy to hold the official voting on the letterpress.
Lord Roamin: Excellent, I'll setup some samples after this meeting. Next topic. I heard that there was interest in setting up a post office for local residents. In order for this to work, at the very least we need to setup a full street naming system. I don't care how the names are decided, but I'd like this settled for next week.
Minimacsniper33: How will we get the mail? With a donation chest?
Lord Roamin: It will be up to the mail-person to distribute the mail into a donation chest. I'll leave it to the council to first check the total number of streets, and find appropriate number of names.
Ninjamoocow99: Could we get a top-down map of Brickton to make naming streets easier?
Lord Roamin: There is a map on the site that should assist.
willie0222: So when you say local mail, how do you tell which house has which names.
Lord Roamin: Good question. Signs may be requested to signify, also greeting messages would work. Get your votes in or we'll end up with seven main streets.
Elder Wooper: New Paupers, to expand upon Steve Definitelynotelectricityman's presence, is now a full district. This is a combination of now sub-districts Cloud Kingdom, Paupers, and Slums. They still function independently of one another. But, they are all overseen by Steve. Coincidentally, ElectricityMan, a strange mysterious hero, has apparently taken up residence in the kingdom. What this means, we cannot necessarily say, but Steve seems to be a polite, upstanding man. He also has a business in Cloud kingdom, with, from what I recall, only one employee, but you can send in your applications.
pankaces5959: What if.. Steve is actually Electricity Man? Lol, JK, that's impossible.
Elder Wooper: That's certainly not possible. Steve is far too busy to fight crime.
gypsyXcow: I would just like to point out that all this mystery behind EC is pointless. We ALL know it's just Nisovin using magic.
Elder Wooper: Well, we can never be sure, and he seems to be a physical being.
JDrocks2013: Will there be transportation from the ground to CK, without portals?
Elder Wooper: I doubt it.
willie0222: So since Prince Spyd and Mr. Steve are in charge of a little part in the Kingdom, will they help with the kingdom, or not?
Elder Wooper: Probably. Prince Spyd and Queen Shay are royalty, and Mr. Steve is an esteemed guest of the Lords, from what I can see. Prince Spyd seems to get along wonderfully with the other Lords. The Barrens are looking to host the Olympics. I would go into detail, but mayhaps it would be better to give you a way to the Letterpress for the information. Mason, you have addressed the Elder Council with a discussion.
Mason97m: Thank you. As some of you know. The Brickton Fairgrounds has become a very sizable event. We hold 11 plots and have 13 people in to make this a success. We have Bricksgiving coming up very soon. The event will be from December 6th to 7th. During this time, we will have two major events. The Buffalo Wizards of Oz play, and a Bricksgiving March. Mr. Minima, would you be so kind?
Minimacsniper33: The Bricksgiving March will begin at 12PM EST at the Great Oak Tree. I will be asking every district to pick a group of epople to perform a skit on Thanking the Lords and Happy Birthday Coe. We will be passing many landmarks such as Slum Towers, Dwarven Mountain, Nisovin's Tower, and the Round Table, ending at the fairgrounds. Also, we are hosting the Buffalo Wizards of Oz play.
Elder Wooper: For those of you seeking more information, see Mason97m or Minimacsniper33 after the meeting.
Phireflyer: Does anyone in the council have modifying capabilites for the calendar?
Elder Wooper: I believe Elder Citrines has the capability. You may wish to resend her the link to do so.
Elder Citrines: I have the link, thank you.
firebird3913: If anyone would like to be a guest on the news video, please contact me and you must be able to Skype. Squires and Lords are welcome.
willie0222: Ok, besides the Sand Factory and Fishing, how does someone get gold in the Kingdom? Elder Wooper: Farming is the only other way at this time.
gypsyXcow: I would just like to ask, as the Stage Director, for everybody to stay off the stage at the fair. We will be planning and installing special equipment, and do not want to have to restrict access.
WorldOfMonkey: Does the poll for the roads need to be done next week as well?
Lord Roamin: The poll should be up this weekend.
Elder Wooper: Thank you all so very much for coming. And especially as always, our guest Lord Roamin, and Squire Faiden. Another thank you for being so polite this meeting! I appreciate it. Meeting Adjourned!
