Welcome, everyone, to the Brickton District Meeting

As per usual, we will begin with announcements, followed by discussion pieces, special notes, and Q&A

Sad to say, Phire hasn't had enough time to work with both CEPC as well as ForTheJimmies Charity

She has decided to hand it over to me

And the coordinates for the new building are X: -415 Z: 485

FTJ focuses on getting money to peasants in need, so please PM me if you are interested.

Will you still be managing the homeless shelter alongside this new endeavor?

Yes, the beds I have are still available, as well as meals.

Tad asked a question about a St. Jimmies hospital. I am not involved with the medical part of this.

Wernty asked if there is a limit.

Per day, around 3-4 bars per peasant is given.

However, you can visit more than once.

This is not specifically for the homeless, if you are in need, it is there for you.

Also, gold given increases based on donations.

It is not a loan; it is simply giving back to the community, to those who need gold.

Two new commands were added this week by our Lords.

The first is the long awaited /plotinfo, which gives you info on the owners and size of a plot.

The second is /plotmessages or /greetings, which toggles plot greeting and farewell messages.

The library staff hosted a spooky, scary Library Lock-In last Sunday.

It was overall a phenomenal success!

The decor was wonderful, and librarian Torn_Star read many peasant’s spooky books aloud.

Another spooky thing that happened was Lord Nisovin's Spooky Halloween party in his Serf City!

There were exclusive Zombie Slime drinks, cakes, music, and all around good times!

Hosted primarily by Lord Nisovin and Serf FlorVanity, there were many squires in attendance.

Including our very own Faiden and Crimson!

Elder Wooper will now come up to the podium to speak about the Royal Gala

Wooper:

Yes, this is mostly just a reiteration of what you know thus far, more or less a reminder!

There will be a ball, the Royal Gala, hosted on November 15th from 2pm-9pm EST.

This ball is put on by the collective work of the CEPC and is hosted in the MQ at x720 z1065

You will be expected to be in formal attire to fit the theme of "Royalty", and you're more than welcome to bring a date!

Though there WILL be a date auction.

In the near future, there will be an open call for peasants who wish to auction themselves off.

Will there be a meeting for Brickton the day of the Ball?

Probably

But that will be decided then.

Proceeds, of course, from the ball will be going to charity.

Phire, yes?

Since you are the Director of the CEPC, I imagine you can clear up anything.

Proceeds from the GALA will be divided and distributed to all the District Guild Plots

As well as to the CEPC

A dress, flowing gown of sorts.

Long, I would imagine.

We are resourceful peasants, though.

Remember it has to fit the theme of royalty.

Prince Spydster seemed to have opened a gateway to an alternate, scary dimension a few days ago.

A strange, flying black creature with 3 skeletal heads emerged, threatening the lives of many peasants.

It attacked most of the crowd, until it was soon disposed of by the Prince himself.

Death?

Death:

If he opened a gateway, did he close it? Or can more bad things get in?

Cole:

I am not too sure if he opened a gateway, but how else could such a monster appear in our city?

Creeper?

Creeper:

With the possibility of this strange, new world, have any of the Lords traveled into it?

Cole:

Again, we are unsure of where this monster came from. That is just speculation among peasants.

Jack?

Jack:

If we have a monster attack here, do we have a plan to take care of it?

Cole:

We will defend our proud district with everything we can!

Lord Roamin:

That's the winning attitude I love to see!

Cole:

Does that include clones?

Cole:

It is all up to the Clones, but hopefully if things turn to worst, you will assist us!

Moving on, Lord Nisovin has announced a new way to fill the library, with weekly writing prompts.

Every week he will announce a topic and genre, and peasants are to write about these.

Submit them to the special donation chest.

Lord Nisovin has also brought us a new writing challenge.

The Zane Legends stories are used as an exercise to expand one's ability to write and think.

You are given a genre, setting, and character, and are given 1 hour to write a story.

For more information, you can go to the Zane Legends Website and start the process yourself!

The only constraints are the ones previously stated.

I assume the only punishment would be having your book disqualified.

Today's meeting was rather light on material, as it has been a thankfully quiet week.
