Single wall Portofilter no longer working on Barista Express

Hey guys- my machine is longer giving me enough pressure with my single wall non-pressurized portifilter. When I first got it, it was working great with great pressure. A few months in I did a full machine clean up with the descaling and since then it hasn’t been working. I followed this video for the cleaning: https://youtu.be/ce_MKf8QH8Y

I called Breville and they told me that it’s because I’m not using fresh enough beans but the same beans worked before. I don’t get it. Did anyone else experience this issue or know the fix? Thanks!
