I'm going to explain so please don't laugh at me when I do.

I live in Chicago, Illinois, US, and I play quite a lot of video games. One of my favorite games as of late is FIFA 15. Now I mostly play Manager Mode. I started my first save (somewhat predictably) at the Chicago Fire. I spent a half season there before moving on to LA Galaxy. After winning two MLS and US Open cups a piece at the Galaxy, I went to River Plate and won the Argentinean title.

But my true ambitions lay in Europe. To be more specific, they lay in one of the larger countries (England, France, Germany, Spain, Italy, etc.). While something like Bayern or Man U or PSG (because money) being my first Euro job would be great, it was also unrealistic. So I took what I could get to reach Europe.

And that just so happened to be Brentford. When I got to Brentford I immediately decided my goal was to take them to the EPL. I'm three seasons deep at Brentford, having gained one promotion (from FL 1 to the Championship), and I'm currently sitting in 2nd in the Championship behind Cardiff.

I'm a fan because managing Brentford in FIFA, as weird as it sounds, gave me a sort of personal stock in the club. I feel like Brentford is my club.

Are there any other Brentford fans across the pond or I all alone?
