I understand Goode is going away to get football to earn a contract as he will be gone in the summer.
MPH to Pompey and the other players we have in league 1 is more to the point. The last 2 seasons we sent players on loan to the championship and they hardly played except Fosu who we got rid of anyway.
Has Thomas/whoever makes these decisions realised it's better for the players between the B team and the first team to go to league one and play regularly rather than go to the championship and sit on the bench?
What does that say about the quality of the B team or fringe players in the first team squad?
Do we think any of the loaned players come back in the summer and fight in the first team squad?
Balcombe hasn't had a look in. Gilbert and Bidstrup left.
Not sure where I am going with this but just an observation. The squad is very similar to the one we can up with. Not a bad thing but also would like to see more.
Forss and Bidstrup was as close as we got to developing a first teamer. Roeslev is good but isn't yet ready.
Will the academy hinder the development of the B team and take away from the player pool that we send on loan to get ready for the first team?
Does Stevens or Cox get a loan to a championship team next season? Crama can go back to Bolton assuming they get promoted.
