Introduction

Howdy! My name is John and I'm a 30 year old man moving to Idaho, searching for his soulmate in this crazy world. I know its a longshot, but I figured I might as well at least try and see what happens.

About Myself

So, where do I begin? I was born and raised in Texas, with fairly traditional values and family structure. I went to school at Texas A&M for nuclear engineering and am currently working on my PhD. As for work, I recently accepted a job at Idaho National Lab as a nuclear engineer and am in the process of moving up there now. I am also a Catholic (got baptized last year) and am a bit conservative politically (voted Trump 3 times now).

I enjoy a pretty wide variety of interests and hobbies, some of which might be a bit nerdier than others. Some of these include: reading (big fan of studying physics, engineering, math, philosophy, and history), video games (xbox, pc, and switch), board games, movies (especially going to the theaters), sketching, grilling, exploring the outdoors, hiking, floating rivers, and just relaxing outside with a nice glass of whisky and a cigar. Outside of these intetests, I'm always down to try new things and find new hobbies, especially if its something my partner is passionate about!

As for looks, I am open to trading pics when you message me, but a quick description would be: 6'1", 207 lbs, white, average build, hazel eyes, brown hair, and a full beard. I tend to dress kinda country, wearing jeans, collared shirts, and boots most days. However, you can also find me in khakis, flipflops, and a hawaiian shirt on other days.

What I am Looking For

So, what am I looking for? Well, I'm looking for my soulmate. More specifically, I'm looking for someone who shares in my interests and values, and is wanting the same things out of life. Someone I can grow with and build something lifelong with.

My ideal relationship would be fairly trad, to use the current lingo. As in, I believe in traditional gender roles, and would want to work and provide for my wife while she takes care of our home and children. We'd ideally work together in establishing a homestead, with a vegetable garden and some animals together on a decent plot of land. I would be the head of our household, and also your protector and provider, taking care of anything labour intensive such as yard work or house repairs. All the while you would be the caretaker of our home, deciding how to decorate, what to cook, what we should grow, and how best to raise our children. On the subject of children, I do prefer that we breast feed them, homeschool them, and raise them Catholic.

As for personal preferences, I do prefer if you have not taken any of the Covid vaccines (I have not either) and do prefer that you are younger than me. I also would prefer that you are also Catholic or interested in being Catholic.
