I’m a 22 year old living in the Charlotte area, looking for a life partner, specifically one interested in having a large family (5 kids), and living on a plot of land in a rural area, probably in SC. I understand that this is a very specific and unusual desire in a country like the US, which is why I’ve opted to post personals rather than wade through low quality matches on dating apps.

Before you ask me, yes, I am fully aware of the significant time, money and energy commitment that is required to raise a child, much less 5 or more. No, I am not a dickhead who expects you to “handle the kids” while I work a job and contribute nothing to the household. I’ve always wanted kids, I’ve spent a significant amount of time reading about and conceptualizing child development, and I am fully prepared to make the extreme commitment required in order to have a family that size (in like 3-5 years or so, obviously I’m not prepared to have kids at 22 in this economy).

As far as what I’m looking for past the obvious, health is a top priority for me, and will remain so for the rest of my life. I’d expect my partner to be similarly committed (if you’re a bit overweight or out of shape that’s fine provided you’re are currently moving toward a healthy lifestyle). I’d also like someone intellectually curious who enjoys learning and detailed conversations as much as I do.

If you think we’d be compatible shoot me a message. Obviously the closer to Charlotte the better but honestly even 3-4 hours away isn’t too big a deal if you’re down to see each other on weekends. True long distance is a bit rough, but if we make a great fit and you’re interested in moving down relatively quickly that’s fine, I’m perfectly happy to move the relationship quickly provided we’re regularly discussing our plans and expectations and converging on a plan.
