Ski resort lodging questions
Post Body

My son and I may be coming for three days of skiing in December. I’m investigating lodging and have found many different opinions. My priorities are:

-convienient and easy access to the slopes -fairly easy access to a variety of good restaurants, probably in downtown breckenridge -a reasonable cost since we’ll be on the slopes from open to close each day

Note that we will not have a car so will have to rely on public transportation.

I’ve looked at Beaver Run resort and the Doubletree, which are intriguing due to their ski in/out access. I’ve also seen recommended the Ranahan, which is also intriguing due to it being a bit fancier and closer to downtown. Does anyone have any suggestions between these or any other recommendations?

Also, we plan on renting equipment at the slopes. Do they have overnight storage? That might also influence where we stay.
