Best night life for group in early 30's?

Im a Denver local and have some college friends from out of town coming in and want to show them a good time.
Looking for a good fun spot that is not a pitch black nightclub where you cant hear anything....but is still fun and can get rowdy maybe with some good music. Also not trying to go somewhere with a really young crowd (like predominately early 20's).
Is Gold Pan a solid bet or do you like somewhere else more? How do places like RMU and Ollies compare?
