Does the infinite health/stamina glitch have lasting effects on a save?

I'm replaying BOTW on master mode, and I plan on completing this save to 100%. I know that you can only have max hearts or max stamina without any effects. I also know of a glitch that allows for BOTH max hearts and stamina, but I'm a little hesitant to do it as I don't know if it'll mess up my save file. Does anyone have any information or advice on this? If it's not safe then I just won't do it, but I'd like to make sure it's good before I do it
