Scars hurt :(

Today I’m 3 months post-op. My scars are very painful on both sides — lying on my side hurts, and raising my arms is also painful. The scars are also very, very hard. Is this normal during the healing process? I haven’t seen my surgeon again since my 6-week check-up. Please give me some advice 🥺
