We broke up almost 2 months ago and it was a bad one. We never had closure. Last night I texted here asking if she still misses me. I was surprised to get a reply. We asked for each other's availability but we don't have an exact date yet.

I'm doing fine being single. I'm enjoying myself, travelling, meeting friends, etc. I don't have interest in dating again but I really like her. She makes a good partner. I wanna keep her but at the same time, I need to have this moment of singlehood. I never truly had that because I used to date around. I feel like I'm gonna be fine if she wishes to date other people for now. She deserves to be happy.

I know that she has personal struggles as well that needs attention. I'm torn if I'll consider being in a relationship with her while solving these issues or better if we solve these individually. I'm already tired of modern dating and I wanna settle down. Is it bad that I still wanna work this out?
