So it's been almost 3 weeks since my ex and I broke up and the same amount of time since No-contact. Her birthday is this weekend and she was planning on going home for the weekend to see her parents. I want to text her something short to try and reestablish the connection/communication but am unsure if I should do so since it hasn't been the full month yet. I feel it would be good to do so.
Here is what I have planned: "Hey! It's been a little while! I remember you were trying to go home for your birthday, I hope you were able to work that out and that you are doing well! :)"
I'd send this then rearchive her conversation. What are some thoughts on doing this? I know common advice is to just move on, and I'm working towards this but I've put alotnof thought into it (writting my thoughts down, pros and cons lists, etc) and I feel as if this is worth trying to salvage in time. I'd like to re-establish some sort of communication or at least break the ice sort of thing.
