Going NC with my (22F) ex (21M) who I was taking stuff slow with for around 2 months.

I really fell for him and he’s said he doesn’t want a girlfriend right now. He’s asked me if im seeing other people then said “just wondering” ignored him all day and had 6 messages worried about whether I’d met someone.

He said he might see me again but it’s early days and just got out of the relationship cos it wasn’t making him happy.

I’m really sad tbh I liked this guy so much. Is there a point in holding hope that he’ll want me?
