I recently went through a tough breakup with my partner of two years. At first, everything felt perfect, but over time, we started to drift apart. We had different goals and values, which led to constant arguments. Eventually, I realized we weren’t on the same page anymore, and after a heart-to-heart, we decided to end things.
Now, I’m feeling a mix of sadness and relief, sad because I miss the companionship, but relieved that the fighting is over. I’ve been isolating myself, skipping workouts and avoiding friends because I don’t want to talk about it. I used to love going out and exploring new places, but now I just feel stuck and unmotivated.
I know I need to heal and get back to enjoying life, but I’m unsure where to start. Should I dive into new activities, reach out to friends, or take some time to myself first? How can I find my footing again after this breakup?
