Just a normal check-in, to see how everybody is holding up. As we all know, breakups are difficult no matter which side you're on. Give it time, you will heal. Time will heal you, I promise. I got mega hurt just under a month ago, after 9 years together... And I'm still hurting some, but after about 2 weeks, things started to get a little easier.

We still talk, about once a week and I haven't decided if that's making things easier or harder. I truly on the inside still want to be her friend for life. She meant a lot to me, and I'll never just forget about her. 9 years is a long time.

Just give it a little time guys... It gets easier. For some it may take a week, a month, a year, but allow yourself time to heal... And don't do what I done. It takes two. Don't take all the blame like I did. Give yourself some grace, and time, and you will feel better.
