So I 25/M wanted to reach out to people on Reddit to get a different perspective on if this is a good idea. So my ex 26/F and I broke up about 6 weeks ago. We were together for about a year and a half. We had some fights and disagreements but nothing major. No cheating, abuse or anything like that. The main thing was just distance. We used to live together but I had to come home to take care of family. She has an older family member down there too. That move back put some significant distance between us(8 hours). She just didn’t think we could work and says we wanted different things and called it off. I really believe we can work and get back together and close the distance relatively soon. But we haven’t spoke since the end of July when I drunk texted her. I wanted to maybe send her flowers with a nice card or something. I really could’ve seen myself marrying this person, even with all of our mistakes and flaws. Would it be a good idea to throw one last Hail Mary to get her back? What could be holding her back from wanting to work this out?
