Am I a bad person for hoping my ex’s rebound will fail?
Post Body

I recently spoke to my ex for the first time in about 3 months. We had a nice conversation but she told me since we broke up that she's started seeing someone new.

Due to the nature of the breakup and how recent it's been I'm convinced that this is a rebound, although I could be wrong. I still really love my ex and want her back, so I find myself hoping that the rebound doesn't work out and we get back together. We had a strong foundation and the break up ended on good terms. Does wishing for this make me a bad person?

Disclaimer: I only want the rebound to end in the scenario where that brings my ex back to me, if we never get back together I have no desire for "revenge" or to see her suffer. I would much rather she be happy.
