My ex is in a rebound with somebody else
Post Body

It's been nearly 3 months since my ex broke up with me and just over 2 months since we last spoke. She said that she needed space and will reach out to me when she's ready either to be friends or to maybe rekindle the relationship, we broke up due to a lot of circumstances outside of our control.

I've been really struggling with no contact and sometimes I look at her Spotify account even though I know I shouldn't, just trying to feel like maybe not everything is lost.

Today I looked at her account and saw she made a new collaborative playlist about a road trip with some new person. It's hard not to jump to conclusions because it's only a playlist but a lot of the songs are love songs and it's the exact same thing that we would do together in a playlist when we were together. Some of them are even the same songs we bonded over. So I'm pretty convinced that she's either rebounded or is in a new relationship.

I really don't know how to cope with this, I was hoping that she would reach out after a while of NC but had also made peace with the fact that she might not. What I was not prepared for was seeing her move on with somebody else so soon.

I really really want to message her and try to reconnect even though I know there's no point and it might push her away further. But I figure if she's in a new relationship and she tells me that straight then maybe I'll get the closure I need?

Please somebody help me out, I'm really struggling with this.
