Severe regret
Post Body

I broke up with my ex 2 months ago, it was a downward spiral for the last year and a half, both of us shared equal blame in the downfall. We had a child together which is probably what made it last as long as it did. Well I have regretted the decision since it happened and the separation has not been good. Custody battle, DCF, domestic violence (I was the victim), suing her car insurance. It's a long nasty story. But I have been battling with reaching out and asking if there is any way we could rebuild. I miss her and our child dearly. I thought this was true love. I actually sent her a long message this morning outlining my regrets and how I miss her and pray we have a change of heart. I feel like an idiot for doing that. But something kept nagging me to hit send so I finally did. I know it's probably too far gone at this point as a lot of damage has been done. I guess this is a vent post more than anything. I just feel so lost, confused and filled with regret. How can I move on? How can I fix things? Life feels impossible and incredibly lonely now. I hate what I've done.
